How to Care for Your Jewelry

To keep your pieces looking their best:

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water. Remove before showering, swimming, or soaking.

  • Remove before exercising to prevent sweat buildup.

  • Apply perfumes, lotions, oils, and hairspray before putting on jewelry.

  • Avoid contact with household cleaners and harsh chemicals.

  • Remove before sleeping to prevent unnecessary wear.

  • Store jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Keep pieces in an airtight pouch to minimize tarnishing.

  • Store items separately to prevent scratching and tangling.

  • Gently wipe with a soft cloth after wearing to remove oils and residue.

  • For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and lukewarm water, then dry thoroughly.

Please note

Your skin’s pH may react with metal jewelry, sometimes leaving a harmless tint. This can be caused by humidity, lotions, oils, or perfumes. To remove it, gently wipe the area with rubbing alcohol or makeup remover.

If you have a known allergy to brass, please be aware when purchasing our Gold-Filled jewelry & Gold or Silver Plated jewelry. While Gold-Filled has an outer layer of 5-10% 14k gold over brass, it still contains brass as a base metal & skin that is highly sensitive to brass may be affected. For these customers, we recommend sterling silver, gold vermeil, or solid gold jewelry. All of our pieces are hypoallergenic.

Natural wear over time is normal, especially with frequent use. Proper care will significantly extend the life and shine of your jewelry.
